AICB is a family owned and operated business located just south of Houston in Pearland, Texas. Our classroom and testing facilities are top-notch and equipped with all of the necessary tools and supplies for our students to be successful. Our trainers holds numerous qualifications and certifications within the crane and rigging industry, and most importantly truly care about the success of each student.
AICB has two cranes set up at the training facility. Our swing cab crane is a 22 ton Grove, Grove RT 522. Our fixed cab crane is an 8.5 ton Broderson, Broderson IC80 2D. We are fortunate to have hundreds of different pieces of rigging to display and use during select training courses.
We also offer litigation services, critical lift plans and support, and rigging solutions. If it is lifting related, we will be glad to accommodate your needs.

American International Crane Bureau, AICB, was founded in 2008 by nationally renowned lifting expert out of Pearland, Don Jordan. Don has 40 years of experience in the crane and rigging industry and is truly passionate about his work. Don has been involved in the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators, NCCCO, for 13 years. This involvement is what sparked the interest for AICB’s creation in 2008. Don holds numerous certifications and accreditations within the Crane & Rigging Industry.
MEET DON JORDAN
Don began his experience in the crane and rigging industry in 1973. He began his career as an Operating Engineer. Crane rental, chemical plants, and refineries are where he received his knowledge and experience in this field, while managing to acquire a degree in Organizational Management.
Don received the prestigious honor of 2012 Professional TOP TRAINER Award at the Association of Crane & Rigging Professionals meeting. He has been training for many years and it is obvious to all of his students that he truly cares about the safety and success of each individual’s skills set when entering the workforce.
He is chairman of the Houston Business Roundtable Crane and Rigging Committee. Don has volunteered in the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators since 2002 where he is and alternate commissioner and chairman of the Rigging Program Management Committee. He is also active in American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Association of Crane and Rigging professionals.
